Family Christmas Tour 2011
Merry Christmas to all from the Bruss'!
We had a wonderful year full of memorable moments and happy occassions! It was our first official full year as parents. We had so many laughs and such a great time watching our son grow, learn and explore. Jaxon turned one on August 1st and he began walking shortly after. He began talking more as well and showing us his dance moves. He's actually got a very good beat - it's quite impressive. He prays with us at night too, which is adorable. When we say, "Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my sould to keep..." he says, "Ree-ree-ree-ree-ree..." at the same time. It's really cute.
Kyle and I took our annual ski-cation to Winter Park, Colorado last March to go skiing and visit one of my best friends, Monica, and her husband, Ryan, who live there. Jaxon came with us this time - you can never be too young to put on your ski boots, right? We are looking forward to a family reunion trip in July 2012 with my family at Maddens Resort in Gull Lake, Minnesota, as well as an August wedding in Vegas for Kyle's cousin, Rachel Bruss, and her fiance, Eric Barth.
This Christmas, we made the rounds to see our loved ones from Seward to Omaha to Bennet, Nebraska. Not too far, which was nice. But, by day three, we were pretty tired. And Jaxon was very tuckered out to say the least. It was such a pleasure to spend quality time with our families, relax and remember the reason for the season....IT'S ALL ABOUT A BABY IN A MANGER.
