Easter 2012

Easter was a fun time for us this year. Jaxon had the opportunity to warm up to the holiday through THREE Easter egg hunts. By the end, he was a pro.

We kicked off Easter weekend at Talent Plus with the annual Children's Easter Egg Hunt. Parents and kids took part in the egg hunting and gathering festivities, as well as enjoyed some treats and played in the bounce house. Jaxon was okay with pointing out the eggs to me, but that was pretty much all he wanted to do with those colored oval-shaped, mysterious plastic things for the time being. By Saturday, at Grandma and Grandpa Barr's place, Jaxon played in the backyard with his cousins Taylor, Kendall, Renner, Bobby, Brook, Brett and Blair. Jaxon and Blair, who are about the same age, got to hunt up some eggs first and they were quite pleased with their little discoveries. We spent Easter Sunday at the Bruss' house in Bennet and we all enjoyed watching Cody, Bailey and Jaxon follow one of the pathways by Ivan and Sue's house which left a trail of Easter eggs for each kiddo. Jaxon enjoyed every minute of it.
